New Southbound Policy X New Business Opportunities, Setting Up a New Industrial Benchmark in Taiwan

To assist our businesses seize emerging commercial opportunities in the ASEAN and Indian markets, the Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) commissioned the Commerce Development Research Institute (CDRI) to hold the “New Southbound Policy X New Business Opportunities – Setting Up a New Industrial Benchmark in Taiwan” Summit Forum at the CHATEAU DE CHINE HUALIEN on December 5. A speech on exploring New Southbound Policy markets was delivered by the CDRI, and Singapore’s Sample Store, Vietnam’s Buy2Sell and other ASEAN buyers were also invited to share their first-hand experience deploying business in the New Southbound Policy markets. The event attracted a total of 100 Taiwanese businesses, and 10 booths were set up for Hualien businesses to showcase their local agricultural produce and accessories for business matching with ASEAN buyers.
